Net Health has broadened its partnership with Kno2, a designated Qualified Health Information Network (QHIN), to enhance its technology ecosystem for healthcare data exchange.
The partnership aims to enable seamless, secure sharing of information across acute care centres, hospitals, post-acute care facilities, provider organisations, home healthcare settings, and residential care centres.
It enhances the integration between Net Health and Kno2, established partners since 2021, and ensures clients have optimised data exchange capabilities that support improved patient care and compliance.
Additionally, it promotes the adoption of connected technology and workflow modernisation to help providers operate efficiently across the care continuum.
Using Kno2’s Communication API, Net Health clients will benefit from reduced dependence on fax-based processes, and improved standards-based data exchange and compliance with federal regulations.
The partnership will initially focus on national interoperability prioritisation for post-acute rehab services, starting with skilled nursing before expanding to all care environments and further modernising document exchange.
Net Health CEO Ron Books said: “Expanding our partnership with Kno2 is another important step in advancing how healthcare organisations connect and collaborate.
“Together, we’re helping providers move beyond the limits of disconnected systems so they can focus on what truly matters — delivering better care coordination for patients, and stronger results for their organisations.”
Kno2 president and co-founder Therasa Bell said: “With over 34,000 clients, Net Health is the leading EHR and technology vendor for providers of ancillary services, such as rehab therapy and wound care.
“As a result, the need for modern, scalable interoperability to exchange demographic and clinical data between their providers and strategic partners is of paramount importance to ensure continuity of care for the patient and providers involved.”
