OneOncology and Ventura County Hematology Oncology Specialists (VCHOS) have finalised a collaboration aimed at improving cancer care services delivery in Ventura County, California, US.
As part of this arrangement, the parties opened new cancer care clinics in Ventura County where patients have started receiving treatment.
For VCHOS, the partnership marks a notable development in its physician-owned operations.
The practice aims to deliver quicker access and comprehensive care to advanced treatments at reduced costs.
VCHOS currently has 60 staff, five physicians, and three advanced practice providers, serving patients with blood disorders and cancer in Camarillo, Ventura, and Oxnard.
Across its three physician-owned clinics, it now offers cancer care services, including oral medicines, chemotherapy, clinical trial access, and in-house laboratory services.
VCHOS president Lynn Kong said: “The OneOncology relationship will bring us capital, expertise, and solutions that will allow us to remain independently owned, while allowing us to expand access to integrated health care services that meets the needs of our patients and their families.”
OneOncology CEO Jeff Patton said: “Our platform adds tremendous value allowing physicians to thrive independently and bring patients and their families world-class specialty care at costs that are far lower than in hospitals. We’re looking forward to working with our new partners to help them meet their goals.”
VCHOS will retain its provider independence, physician ownership, and governance while benefiting from access to OneOncology’s technological, clinical, and operational resources.
This includes clinical and administrative technology, precision medicine tools, capital for development, and opportunities for collaborative research.
In July 2025, OneOncology partnered with Hematology Oncology Associates of the Treasure Coast (HOATC) to enhance the delivery of oncology services in Florida’s Treasure Coast and surrounding areas.
