Veidekke has secured a contract with Helse Sør-Øst RHF for the new psychiatric building, PHA South, at the New Aker Hospital in Oslo, Norway.
The contract was signed for the collaboration phase, marking the immediate start of further development on the project.

Construction is set to commence in mid-2027, with an anticipated completion date in late-2030. The contract will be added to Veidekke's order backlog when construction begins.
Veidekke Building Oslo director Erik Økland said: “We sincerely thank Helse Sør-Øst for their trust. Veidekke has completed a number of major hospital projects in recent years, and we now look forward to working with Helse Sør-Øst’s project organisation with the goal of entering into a final construction contract in about a year.”
In May 2025, Veidekke secured a contract to construct a new ambulance station with an office building at Sørlandet Hospital in Kristiansand, Norway, valued at nearly Nkr120m ($11.68m) excluding value-added tax (VAT).
