AI-driven technology company Xsolis has launched Dragonfly Navigate, a solution aimed at optimising the length of hospital stays.

West Tennessee Healthcare in the US will be the inaugural healthcare system to pilot this capacity management and discharge planning solution, building on its ongoing collaboration with Xsolis.

Dragonfly Navigate represents Xsolis' third product in the discharge planning arena, integrating length of stay analytics into clinical workflows.

The AI-driven solution is engineered to enhance efficiency, bolster care coordination, and simplify the identification and resolution of discharge delays.

West Tennessee Healthcare care management executive director Debbie Ashworth said: “We are excited to expand our partnership with Xsolis to pilot the Dragonfly Navigate workflow solution.

“Dragonfly Navigate provides a seamless workflow that complements clinical expertise and supports more proactive discharge planning, which will give my teams more time to focus on addressing patient needs.”

Dragonfly Navigate's key features include AI models that forecast discharge dates and dispositions, AI-powered tasks for conflict prediction and discharge alerts, and documentation tools with standardised data sets for on-unit planning.

The solution also offers bi-directional electronic medical record (EMR) integration, facility dashboards for capacity management, and retrospective dashboards that link performance trends to the underlying causes of avoidable delays.

Xsolis CEO and co-founder Joan Butters said: “Length of stay is the next frontier for bringing our customers significant savings.

“We have listened to their needs and are excited to deliver a more seamless workflow solution with Dragonfly Navigate, which builds on the success of our previous products to drive length of stay improvements.”

In July 2024, US-based non-profit Catholic health system Providence broadened its collaboration with Xsolis.
