Healthcare Practitioners and Technical Occupations, with a share of 55%, emerged as the top robotics-related job roles within the healthcare industry in Q3 2023, with new job postings drop by 42% quarter-on-quarter. Healthcare Support Occupations came in second with a share of 14% in Q3 2023, with new job postings dropping by 16% over the previous quarter.
The other prominent robotics roles include Architecture and Engineering Occupations with a 2% share in Q3 2023, Management Occupations with a 2% share of new job postings.
Top five companies in healthcare industry accounted for 42% of hiring activity
The top companies, in terms of number of new job postings tracked by GlobalData, as of Q3 2023 were Post Acute Medical, Prime Healthcare Services, Ramsay Health Care, HCA Healthcare, and Nationwide Children's Hospital. Together they accounted for a combined share of 42% of all robotics-related new jobs in the healthcare industry.
Post Acute Medical posted 239 robotics-related new jobs in Q3 2023, Prime Healthcare Services 210 jobs, Ramsay Health Care 123 jobs, HCA Healthcare 52 jobs, and Nationwide Children's Hospital 51 jobs, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics.
Hiring activity was driven by the US with an 89.24% share of total new job postings, Q3 2023
The largest share of robotics-related new job postings in the healthcare industry in Q3 2023 was in the US with 89.24% followed by France (7.77%) and Canada (0.68%). The share represented by the US was four percentage points lower than the 92.99% share it accounted for in Q2 2023.
