1. Texas Children’s Hospital – 973 beds

The Texas Children’s Hospital, located on the Texas Medical Center campus in Houston, is the biggest children’s hospital in the US, with 973 beds.

The teaching hospital comprises multiple paediatric facilities within the campus, including the Wallace Tower, which houses outpatient facilities; and the West and the Legacy towers, which accommodate inpatient services facilities. All three towers are connected via a sky bridge.

The 673-bed Nationwide Children’s Hospital, located in Columbus, Ohio, is the second-largest paediatric hospital in the US.

4. Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center – 622 beds

The Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, located in Cincinnati, Ohio, is a non-profit academic medical centre having 622 beds, including 110 registered psychiatric beds.

Established in 1883, it is one of the oldest paediatric hospitals in the US. It admitted 28,211 patients and performed 6,418 inpatient surgical procedures in 2021.
