Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers Occupations leads by classification in January 2022
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers Occupations emerged as the leading IT occupation in Asia-Pacific with a share of 48.28% in January 2022, a 25% drop over the previous month. Miscellaneous Computer Occupations came in next, claiming a share of 21.84% in January 2022, marking a 9.52% month-on-month decline. In the third place was Database and Network Administrators and Architects with a share of 18.39% in January 2022, a 6.67% rise from December 2022.

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, accounted for a combined average growth of 44% in the overall IT recruitment activity of Asia-Pacific’s healthcare industry during January 2022 over previous month.
Ministry of Health, New South Wales, Australia posted 33 IT jobs in January 2022 and registered an increase of 13.79% over the previous month, followed by CitiusTech with 13 jobs and a 44.44% growth. CompuGroup Medical SE & Co. with 12 IT jobs and RamSoft with 8 jobs, recorded a flat growth and a flat growth, respectively, while Life Healthcare Group Holdings recorded a flat growth with 6 job postings during January 2022.
Country-wise composition of IT hiring in Asia-Pacific’s healthcare industry
Australia commanded a leading presence in the region’s healthcare industry IT hiring activity with a 47.13% share in January 2022, a 10.87% decrease over December 2022. India featured next with a 44.83% share, down 15.22% over the previous month. Azerbaijan recorded a 4.6% share, a flat growth compared with December 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in January 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 75.86%, down by 14.29% from December 2022. Mid Level positions with a 19.54% share, registered a decline of 15% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 4.6% share, down 20% over December 2022.
