Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers Occupations leads by classification in December 2021
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers Occupations emerged as the leading IT occupation in Asia-Pacific with a share of 55.67% in December 2021, a 37.21% drop over the previous month. Miscellaneous Computer Occupations came in next, claiming a share of 21.65% in December 2021, marking a 12.5% month-on-month decline. In the third place was Database and Network Administrators and Architects with a share of 14.43% in December 2021, a 30% drop from November 2021.

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, accounted for a combined average decline of 38.26% in the overall IT recruitment activity of Asia-Pacific’s healthcare industry during December 2021 over previous month.
Ministry of Health, New South Wales, Australia posted 29 IT jobs in December 2021 and registered a decline of 38.3% over the previous month, followed by Bracket Global with 13 jobs and a 59.38% drop. CompuGroup Medical SE & Co. with 12 IT jobs and CitiusTech with 9 jobs, recorded a 25% drop and a 28.57% rise, respectively, while Signant Health recorded a 38.46% decline with 8 job postings during December 2021.
Country-wise composition of IT hiring in Asia-Pacific’s healthcare industry
India commanded a leading presence in the region’s healthcare industry IT hiring activity with a 48.45% share in December 2021, a 36.49% decrease over November 2021. Australia featured next with a 41.24% share, down 20% over the previous month. New Zealand recorded a 4.12% share, a growth of 33.33% compared with November 2021.
Junior Level job postings dominate in December 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 74.23%, down by 16.28% from November 2021. Mid Level positions with a 19.59% share, registered a decline of 44.12% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 6.19% share, down 73.91% over November 2021.
