Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers Occupations emerged as the leading IT occupation in Asia-Pacific with a share of 50% in September 2022, a 39.39% rise over the previous month. Database and Network Administrators and Architects came in next, claiming a share of 19.57% in September 2022, marking a flat month-on-month increase. In the third place was Miscellaneous Computer Occupations with a share of 11.96% in September 2022, a 37.5% rise from August 2022.

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, accounted for a combined average growth of 13.73% in the overall IT recruitment activity of Asia-Pacific’s healthcare industry during September 2022 over previous month.
Ministry of Health, New South Wales, Australia posted 22 IT jobs in September 2022 and registered a decline of 40.54% over the previous month, followed by ConcertAI with 11 jobs and a flat growth. Vitera Healthcare Solutions with 10 IT jobs and CompuGroup Medical SEKGaA with 8 jobs, recorded a 25% rise and a 300% rise, respectively, while Healius recorded a 75% increase with 7 job postings during September 2022.
Country-wise composition of IT hiring in Asia-Pacific’s healthcare industry
India commanded a leading presence in the region’s healthcare industry IT hiring activity with a 46.74% share in September 2022, an 115% increase over August 2022. Australia featured next with a 44.57% share, down 21.15% over the previous month. New Zealand recorded a 4.35% share, a drop of 55.56% compared with August 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in September 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 78.26%, up by 12.5% from August 2022. Mid Level positions with a 16.3% share, registered a growth of 7.14% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 5.43% share, down 37.5% over August 2022.
