Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers Occupations emerged as the leading IT occupation in Asia-Pacific with a share of 37.66% in August 2022, a 27.5% drop over the previous month. Database and Network Administrators and Architects came in next, claiming a share of 23.38% in August 2022, marking a 28.57% month-on-month increase. In the third place was Computer and Information Analysts with a share of 22.08% in August 2022, an 88.89% rise from July 2022.

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, accounted for a combined average growth of 166.67% in the overall IT recruitment activity of Asia-Pacific’s healthcare industry during August 2022 over previous month.
Ministry of Health, New South Wales, Australia posted 34 IT jobs in August 2022 and registered an increase of 277.78% over the previous month, followed by Ryman Healthcare with 8 jobs and a 166.67% growth. Vitera Healthcare Solutions with 8 IT jobs and Ramsay Health Care with 3 jobs, recorded a 100% rise and a 40% drop, respectively, while Apria Healthcare Group recorded a flat growth with 3 job postings during August 2022.
Country-wise composition of IT hiring in Asia-Pacific’s healthcare industry
Australia commanded a leading presence in the region’s healthcare industry IT hiring activity with a 58.44% share in August 2022, a 25% increase over July 2022. India featured next with a 23.38% share, down 35.71% over the previous month. New Zealand recorded a 10.39% share, a growth of 300% compared with July 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in August 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 72.73%, up by 7.69% from July 2022. Mid Level positions with a 16.88% share, registered a decline of 13.33% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 10.39% share, up 100% over July 2022.
