Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers Occupations leads by classification in April 2022
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers Occupations emerged as the leading IT occupation in Asia-Pacific with a share of 56.99% in April 2022, a 60.61% rise over the previous month. Miscellaneous Computer Occupations came in next, claiming a share of 15.86% in April 2022, marking a 16.9% month-on-month decline. In the third place was Database and Network Administrators and Architects with a share of 12.37% in April 2022, a 31.43% rise from March 2022.

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, accounted for a combined average growth of 45.15% in the overall IT recruitment activity of Asia-Pacific’s just food industry during April 2022 over previous month.
Nestle posted 279 IT jobs in April 2022 and registered an increase of 106.67% over the previous month, followed by Unternehmensgruppe Theo Muller S.e.c.s. with 30 jobs and a 61.54% drop. Masan Group with 16 IT jobs and Sigma Alimentos with 14 jobs, recorded a 14.29% rise and a 40% rise, respectively, while Fonterra Co-operative Group recorded a flat growth with 5 job postings during April 2022.
Country-wise composition of IT hiring in Asia-Pacific’s just food industry
India commanded a leading presence in the region’s just food industry IT hiring activity with an 81.18% share in April 2022, a 43.13% increase over March 2022. Australia featured next with a 7.8% share, up 81.25% over the previous month. Vietnam recorded a 4.3% share, a growth of 14.29% compared with March 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in April 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 65.59%, up by 16.75% from March 2022. Mid Level positions with a 20.16% share, registered a growth of 59.57% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 14.25% share, up 76.67% over March 2022.
