The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 16.14% in April 2022 when compared with March 2022.
Out of the healthcare industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 1.09% share in April 2022, recording a decrease of 0.2% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in Australia’s healthcare industry’s IT recruitment activity in April 2022
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 97.56% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Australia’s healthcare industry in April 2022.
1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 41.46% in April 2022, registering a 41.38% decline over the previous month.
2) Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a 24.39% share, a decrease of 9.09% over the previous month.
3) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 14.63%, registering a 64.71% decline from March 2022.
4) Computer Support Specialists captured a share of 12.2% growth over the previous month.
Top five healthcare companies in Australia’s IT recruitment activity in April 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average flat growth share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Australia’s healthcare industry during April 2022 over March 2022.
Ministry of Health, New South Wales, Australia posted 34 IT jobs in April 2022 and registered a drop of 44.26% over the previous month, followed by Genesis Care with 4 jobs and a flat growth. Ramsay Health Care with 2 IT jobs and Abt Associates with 1 jobs, recorded a flat growth and a flat growth.
Junior Level job postings dominate in April 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 78.05%, down by 31.91% from March 2022. Mid Level positions with a 12.2% share, registered a decline of 37.5% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 9.76% share, down 55.56% over March 2022.
