The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 15.26% in April 2022 when compared with March 2022.
Out of the healthcare industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 1.09% share in April 2022, recording an increase of 0.02% over the last three-month average share.

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 18.97% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Canada’s healthcare industry during April 2022 over March 2022.
Alberta Health Services posted 30 IT jobs in April 2022 and registered a drop of 9.09% over the previous month, followed by Penticton Regional Hospital with 7 jobs and a 16.67% growth. Vancouver Coastal Health with 6 IT jobs and McKesson with 3 jobs, recorded a 14.29% decline and a 66.67% decrease, respectively, while Trillium Health Partners recorded a decline of 66.67% with 1 job postings during April 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in April 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 66.67%, down by 25.58% from March 2022. Mid Level positions with an 18.75% share, registered a decline of 30.77% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 14.58% share, flat growth over March 2022.
