The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 0.16% in June 2022 when compared with May 2022.

Out of the healthcare industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 0.85% share in June 2022, recording a decrease of 0.23% over the last three-month average share.

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 17.65% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Canada’s healthcare industry during June 2022 over May 2022.

Alberta Health Services posted 28 IT jobs in June 2022 and registered a drop of 26.32% over the previous month, followed by Mackenzie Health with 6 jobs and a 50% growth. Trillium Health Partners with 3 IT jobs and McKesson with 3 jobs, recorded a 50% growth and a 40% decrease, respectively, while Vancouver Coastal Health recorded a flat growth with 2 job postings during June 2022.

Junior Level job postings dominate in June 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 71.11%, down by 21.95% from May 2022. Mid Level positions with a 17.78% share, registered a flat growth compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with an 11.11% share, down 44.44% over May 2022.
