The industry’s overall hiring increased by 12.87% in March 2022 when compared with February 2022.
Out of the healthcare industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 1.01% share in March 2022, recording a decrease of 0.01% over the last three-month average share.

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 1.82% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Canada’s healthcare industry during March 2022 over February 2022.
Alberta Health Services posted 33 IT jobs in March 2022 and registered a drop of 2.94% over the previous month, followed by Vancouver Coastal Health with 7 jobs and a flat growth. Penticton Regional Hospital with 5 IT jobs and McKesson with 5 jobs, recorded a 150% growth and a 28.57% decrease, respectively, while Mackenzie Health recorded a decline of 20% with 4 job postings during March 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in March 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 67.24%, down by 18.75% from February 2022. Mid Level positions with a 20.69% share, registered an increase of 100% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 12.07% share, flat growth over February 2022.
