Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers Occupations emerged as the leading IT occupation in Europe with a share of 60% in February 2022, a 77.27% rise over the previous month. Computer Support Specialists came in next, claiming a share of 16.92% in February 2022, marking a 26.67% month-on-month decline. In the third place was Miscellaneous Computer Occupations with a share of 12.31% in February 2022, a 60% rise from January 2022.

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, accounted for a combined average growth of 73.08% in the overall IT recruitment activity of Europe’s healthcare industry during February 2022 over previous month.
CompuGroup Medical SE & Co. posted 29 IT jobs in February 2022 and registered an increase of 61.11% over the previous month, followed by Biowink with 6 jobs and a 500% growth. Elanco Animal Health with 4 IT jobs and Oak Street Health with 3 jobs, recorded a 33.33% rise and a flat growth, respectively, while Ramsay Health Care recorded a 25% decline with 3 job postings during February 2022.
Country-wise composition of IT hiring in Europe’s healthcare industry
Germany commanded a leading presence in the region’s healthcare industry IT hiring activity with a 49.23% share in February 2022, a 45.45% increase over January 2022. The UK featured next with a 15.38% share, down 41.18% over the previous month. Netherlands recorded a 9.23% share, a flat growth compared with January 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in February 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 84.62%, up by 14.58% from January 2022. Mid Level positions with a 10.77% share, registered a flat growth compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 4.62% share, down 40% over January 2022.
