Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers Occupations emerged as the leading IT occupation in Europe with a share of 58.46% in February 2022, a 30.91% drop over the previous month. Miscellaneous Computer Occupations came in next, claiming a share of 24.62% in February 2022, marking a 5.88% month-on-month decline. In the third place was Database and Network Administrators and Architects with a share of 9.23% in February 2022, a 50% drop from January 2022.

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, accounted for a combined average decline of 38.46% in the overall IT recruitment activity of Europe’s just drinks industry during February 2022 over previous month.
Carlsberg posted 18 IT jobs in February 2022 and registered a decline of 14.29% over the previous month, followed by Royal Unibrew with 13 jobs and a 56.67% drop. PepsiCo with 7 IT jobs and Red Bull with 5 jobs, recorded a 30% drop and a 66.67% drop, respectively, while Fomento Economico Mexicano SAB de CV recorded a 150% increase with 5 job postings during February 2022.
Country-wise composition of IT hiring in Europe’s just drinks industry
Denmark commanded a leading presence in the region’s just drinks industry IT hiring activity with a 26.15% share in February 2022, a 45.16% decrease over January 2022. The UK featured next with a 24.62% share, down 30.43% over the previous month. Sweden recorded a 7.69% share, a drop of 50% compared with January 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in February 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 78.46%, down by 20.31% from January 2022. Entry Level positions with a 13.85% share, registered a growth of 28.57% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 7.69% share, down 78.26% over January 2022.
