Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers Occupations emerged as the leading IT occupation in Europe with a share of 47.9% in February 2022, a 43.84% drop over the previous month. Miscellaneous Computer Occupations came in next, claiming a share of 21.01% in February 2022, marking a 35.9% month-on-month decline. In the third place was Database and Network Administrators and Architects with a share of 18.07% in February 2022, a 33.85% drop from January 2022.

Top five just food companies in Europe’s IT recruitment activity in February 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, accounted for a combined average decline of 34.39% in the overall IT recruitment activity of Europe’s just food industry during February 2022 over previous month.
Nestle posted 46 IT jobs in February 2022 and registered an increase of 58.62% over the previous month, followed by Lotus Bakeries with 32 jobs and a 46.67% drop. HelloFresh with 28 IT jobs and Unternehmensgruppe Theo Muller S.e.c.s. with 22 jobs, recorded a 68.89% drop and a 40.54% drop, respectively, while Danone recorded a 240% increase with 17 job postings during February 2022.
Country-wise composition of IT hiring in Europe’s just food industry
Germany commanded a leading presence in the region’s just food industry IT hiring activity with a 19.75% share in February 2022, a 59.83% decrease over January 2022. The UK featured next with a 15.97% share, down 54.22% over the previous month. France recorded a 15.13% share, a drop of 16.28% compared with January 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in February 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 75.63%, down by 36.17% from January 2022. Entry Level positions with a 15.55% share, registered a decline of 36.21% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with an 8.82% share, down 47.5% over January 2022.
