France’s healthcare industry registered an 8.2% drop in IT hiring activity in September 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 2.23% in September 2021 when compared with August 2021.

Out of the healthcare industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed an 8.01% share in September 2021, recording a decrease of 0.04% over the last three-month average share.

Top five job classifications in France’s healthcare industry’s IT recruitment activity in September 2021

Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 100% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of France’s healthcare industry in September 2021.

1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 75.6% in September 2021, registering a 10.73% decline over the previous month.

2) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed an 11.48% share, a decrease of 11.11% over the previous month.

3) Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 8.13%, registering a 19.05% decline from August 2021.

4) Computer Support Specialists captured a share of 4.31%, up 350% over the previous month.

Top five healthcare companies in France’s IT recruitment activity in September 2021

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 5.26% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of France’s healthcare industry during September 2021 over August 2021.

Atos posted 110 IT jobs in September 2021 and registered a drop of 20.29% over the previous month, followed by International Business Machines with 32 jobs and a 128.57% growth. AXA with 14 IT jobs and Allianz with 13 jobs, recorded a 17.65% decline and a 333.33% flat growth, respectively, while Cegedim recorded a decline of 38.89% with 11 job postings during September 2021.

Junior Level job postings dominate in September 2021

Junior Level jobs held a share of 84.21%, down by 9.28% from August 2021. Mid Level positions with a 10.53% share, registered an increase of 10% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 4.78% share, down 47.37% over August 2021, while Senior postings accounted for 0.48%, recording a month-on-month flat growth.
