France’s just food industry registered an 8.2% drop in IT hiring activity in March 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The industry’s overall hiring increased by 27.19% in March 2022 when compared with February 2022.
Out of the just food industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 1.42% share in March 2022, recording a decrease of 0.69% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in France’s just food industry’s IT recruitment activity in March 2022
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 100% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of France’s just food industry in March 2022.
1) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations recorded a share of 45.95% in March 2022, registering an 183.33% growth over the previous month.
2) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers claimed a 40.54% share, a decrease of 50% over the previous month.
3) Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 10.81%, registering a 73.33% decline from February 2022.
4) Computer Support Specialists captured a share of 2.7%, flat growth over the previous month.
Top five just food companies in France’s IT recruitment activity in March 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 18.92% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of France’s just food industry during March 2022 over February 2022.
Unibel posted 10 IT jobs in March 2022 and registered a drop of 66.67% over the previous month, followed by Nestle with 9 jobs and a 200% growth. Societe LDC with 4 IT jobs and Danone with 4 jobs, recorded a flat growth and a 33.33% growth, respectively, while Fromageries Bel recorded an increase of 200% with 3 job postings during March 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in March 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 83.78%, down by 32.61% from February 2022. Mid Level positions with an 8.11% share, registered an increase of 200% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with an 8.11% share, down 40% over February 2022.
