Germany’s just food industry registered a 38.0% rise in IT hiring activity in April 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The industry’s overall hiring increased by 43.45% in April 2022 when compared with March 2022.
Out of the just food industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 1.65% share in April 2022, recording a decrease of 1.46% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in Germany’s just food industry’s IT recruitment activity in April 2022
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 100% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Germany’s just food industry in April 2022.
1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 69.81% in April 2022, registering a 311.11% growth over the previous month.
2) Computer and Information Analysts claimed an 18.87% share, an increase of 900% over the previous month.
3) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 7.55%, registering a 60% decline from March 2022.
4) Database and Network Administrators and Architects captured a share of 3.77% growth over the previous month.
Top five just food companies in Germany’s IT recruitment activity in April 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 400% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Germany’s just food industry during April 2022 over March 2022.
Lotus Bakeries posted 20 IT jobs in April 2022 and registered a rise of 400% over the previous month, followed by Nestle with 16 jobs and a 700% growth. Ferrero Group with 4 IT jobs and maxingvest with 3 jobs, recorded a flat growth and a flat growth, respectively, while FRoSTA recorded a flat growth with 2 job postings during April 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in April 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 84.91%, up by 350% from March 2022. Entry Level positions with a 13.21% share, registered a decline of 36.36% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 1.89% share, down 66.67% over March 2022.
