India’s healthcare industry registered a 13.9% drop in IT hiring activity in October 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 4.5% in October 2022 when compared with September 2022.

Out of the healthcare industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 20.89% share in October 2022, recording a decrease of 1.07% over the last three-month average share.

Top five job classifications in India’s healthcare industry’s IT recruitment activity in October 2022

Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 100% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of India’s healthcare industry in October 2022.

1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 51.85% in October 2022, registering a 46.15% decline over the previous month.

2) Computer and Information Analysts claimed a 44.44% share, an increase of 140% over the previous month.

3) Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 3.7%, registering a 90% decline from September 2022.

Top five healthcare companies in India’s IT recruitment activity in October 2022

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 52.94% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of India’s healthcare industry during October 2022 over September 2022.

CompuGroup Medical SEKGaA posted 10 IT jobs in October 2022 and registered a rise of 25% over the previous month, followed by CitiusTech with 9 jobs and a 50% growth. RamSoft with 4 IT jobs and Agilon Health with 2 jobs, recorded a 300% growth and a flat growth, respectively, while Deallus Consulting recorded a flat growth with 1 job postings during October 2022.

Junior Level job postings dominate in October 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 51.85%, down by 56.25% from September 2022. Mid Level positions with a 40.74% share, registered a flat growth compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 7.41% share, up 100% over September 2022.
