India’s healthcare industry registered a 7.4% drop in IT hiring activity in August 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 6.65% in August 2022 when compared with July 2022.
Out of the healthcare industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 22.97% share in August 2022, recording a decrease of 1.23% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in India’s healthcare industry’s IT recruitment activity in August 2022
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 100% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of India’s healthcare industry in August 2022.
1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 66.67% in August 2022, registering a 45.45% decline over the previous month.
2) Computer and Information Analysts claimed a 22.22% share, an increase of 100% over the previous month.
3) Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 5.56%, registering a 75% decline from July 2022.
4) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations captured a share of 5.56%, flat growth over the previous month.
Top five healthcare companies in India’s IT recruitment activity in August 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 26.09% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of India’s healthcare industry during August 2022 over July 2022.
Vitera Healthcare Solutions posted 8 IT jobs in August 2022 and registered a rise of 100% over the previous month, followed by CitiusTech with 3 jobs and a 62.5% drop. CompuGroup Medical SEKGaA with 2 IT jobs and NMC Health with 2 jobs, recorded an 80% decline and a 100% growth, respectively, while Max Healthcare Institute recorded a flat growth with 2 job postings during August 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in August 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 66.67%, down by 25% from July 2022. Mid Level positions with a 22.22% share, registered a decline of 66.67% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with an 11.11% share, flat growth over July 2022.
