India’s healthcare industry registered an 8.8% drop in IT hiring activity in March 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 11.55% in March 2022 when compared with February 2022.
Out of the healthcare industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 24.44% share in March 2022, recording an increase of 1.19% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in India’s healthcare industry’s IT recruitment activity in March 2022
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 102.78% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of India’s healthcare industry in March 2022.
1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 61.11% in March 2022, registering a 42.11% decline over the previous month.
2) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a 22.22% share, a decrease of 20% over the previous month.
3) Computer Support Specialists held a share of 8.33%, registering a 25% decline from February 2022.
4) Database and Network Administrators and Architects captured a share of 5.56%, up 100% over the previous month.
Top five healthcare companies in India’s IT recruitment activity in March 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 2.86% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of India’s healthcare industry during March 2022 over February 2022.
CitiusTech posted 12 IT jobs in March 2022 and registered a flat growth over the previous month, followed by CompuGroup Medical SE & Co. with 10 jobs and a 37.5% drop. Vitera Healthcare Solutions with 8 IT jobs and Life Healthcare Group Holdings with 2 jobs, recorded a 100% growth and a 33.33% decrease, respectively, while RamSoft recorded a flat growth with 2 job postings during March 2022.
Mid Level job postings dominate in March 2022
Mid Level jobs held a share of 47.22%, up by 30.77% from February 2022. Junior Level positions with a 44.44% share, registered a decline of 51.52% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with an 8.33% share, down 66.67% over February 2022.
