India’s healthcare industry registered a 9.9% rise in IT hiring activity in September 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 3.13% in September 2022 when compared with August 2022.

Out of the healthcare industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 25.27% share in September 2022, recording an increase of 1.43% over the last three-month average share.

Top five job classifications in India’s healthcare industry’s IT recruitment activity in September 2022

Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 100% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of India’s healthcare industry in September 2022.

1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 58.14% in September 2022, registering a 108.33% growth over the previous month.

2) Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a 23.26% share, an increase of 900% over the previous month.

3) Computer and Information Analysts held a share of 11.63%, registering a 16.67% decline from August 2022.

4) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations captured a share of 4.65%, up 100% over the previous month.

Top five healthcare companies in India’s IT recruitment activity in September 2022

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 157.14% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of India’s healthcare industry during September 2022 over August 2022.

ConcertAI posted 11 IT jobs in September 2022 and registered a flat growth over the previous month, followed by Vitera Healthcare Solutions with 10 jobs and a 25% growth. CompuGroup Medical SEKGaA with 8 IT jobs and CitiusTech with 5 jobs, recorded a 300% growth and a 66.67% growth, respectively, while Agilon Health recorded an increase of 100% with 2 job postings during September 2022.

Junior Level job postings dominate in September 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 74.42%, up by 128.57% from August 2022. Mid Level positions with a 23.26% share, registered an increase of 150% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 2.33% share, down 50% over August 2022.
