India’s just food industry registered a 95.4% rise in IT hiring activity in March 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The industry’s overall hiring increased by 84.87% in March 2022 when compared with February 2022.
Out of the just food industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 4.78% share in March 2022, recording an increase of 1.21% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in India’s just food industry’s IT recruitment activity in March 2022
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 100% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of India’s just food industry in March 2022.
1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 45.31% in March 2022, registering a 163.64% growth over the previous month.
2) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a 21.88% share, an increase of 133.33% over the previous month.
3) Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 11.98%, registering a 1050% rise from February 2022.
4) Computer and Information Analysts captured a share of 11.46%, up 120% over the previous month.
Top five just food companies in India’s IT recruitment activity in March 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 166.67% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of India’s just food industry during March 2022 over February 2022.
Nestle posted 96 IT jobs in March 2022 and registered a rise of 269.23% over the previous month, followed by Unternehmensgruppe Theo Muller S.e.c.s. with 67 jobs and a 191.3% growth. Sigma Alimentos with 9 IT jobs and Lien Hwa Industrial with 8 jobs, recorded a 50% decline and a flat growth, respectively, while General Mills recorded an increase of 100% with 4 job postings during March 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in March 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 73.96%, up by 136.67% from February 2022. Mid Level positions with a 16.67% share, registered an increase of 146.15% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 9.38% share, up 200% over February 2022.
