Brazil-based company JBS’s IT hiring rose 17.8% in April 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 2.71% in April 2022 when compared with March 2022.

IT jobs claimed a 3.28% share in the company’s total hiring activity in April 2022, and recorded a 0.44% growth over the last three-month average share.

Computer and Information Analysts tops JBS IT hiring in April 2022

Out of the total IT job titles posted by JBS, Computer and Information Analysts emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 29.55% in April 2022, and an 8.33% rise over March 2022, while Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers claimed a share of 25% in April 2022, and registered a decline of 8.33%. Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 25% in April 2022, a 120% rise from March 2022.

North America drives IT hiring at JBS

North America emerged as the leading region in the global just food IT hiring activity in April 2022 with an 84.09% share, which marked a 5.13% drop over the previous month.

Asia-Pacific stood next with 9.09%, registering a flat month-on-month growth. South & Central America was the third leading region with a 6.82% share and a flat growth over March 2022.

The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s just food industry IT hiring activity with an 84.09% share in April 2022, a 5.13% decline over March 2022. Australia featured next with a 9.09% share, flat growth over the previous month.

Junior Level jobs lead JBS IT hiring activity in April 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 68.18%, down by 9.09% from March 2022. Entry Level positions with a 27.27% share, a decline of 7.69% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 4.55% share, flat growth over March 2022.
