Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers Occupations emerged as the leading IT occupation in North America with a share of 57.14% in March 2022, a 4.76% drop over the previous month. Database and Network Administrators and Architects came in next, claiming a share of 17.14% in March 2022, marking a 9.09% month-on-month decline. In the third place was Computer and Information Analysts with a share of 13.14% in March 2022, a 56.6% drop from February 2022.

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, accounted for a combined average decline of 29.5% in the overall IT recruitment activity of North America’s just drinks industry during March 2022 over previous month.
PepsiCo posted 48 IT jobs in March 2022 and registered a decline of 26.15% over the previous month, followed by Carlsberg with 39 jobs and a 2.5% drop. Fomento Economico Mexicano SAB de CV with 28 IT jobs and Coca-Cola Consolidated with 14 jobs, recorded a 50% drop and a 48.15% drop, respectively, while The Coca-Cola recorded a flat growth with 12 job postings during March 2022.
Country-wise composition of IT hiring in North America’s just drinks industry
The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s just drinks industry IT hiring activity with a 79.43% share in March 2022, a 16.77% decrease over February 2022. Mexico featured next with an 18.86% share, down 44.07% over the previous month. Canada recorded a 1.71% share, a flat growth compared with February 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in March 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 64.57%, down by 28.48% from February 2022. Mid Level positions with a 24.57% share, registered a growth of 2.38% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 10.86% share, down 24% over February 2022.
