PepsiCo’s IT hiring activity rises 4.6% in March 2022

US-based company PepsiCo’s IT hiring rose 4.6% in March 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 2.53% in March 2022 when compared with February 2022.

IT jobs claimed a 4.65% share in the company’s total hiring activity in March 2022, and recorded a 0.45% growth over the last three-month average share.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops PepsiCo IT hiring in March 2022

Out of the total IT job titles posted by PepsiCo, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 62.71% in March 2022, and a 15.91% drop over February 2022, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 27.12% in March 2022, and registered growth of 23.08%. Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 5.08% in March 2022, a 75% drop from February 2022.

North America drives IT hiring at PepsiCo

North America emerged as the leading region in the global just drinks IT hiring activity in March 2022 with an 81.36% share, which marked a 26.15% drop over the previous month.

Europe stood next with 13.56%, registering a flat month-on-month growth. Asia-Pacific was the third leading region with a 3.39% share and a 50% drop over February 2022.

In the fourth place was Middle East & Africa with a share of 1.69% and a month-on-month decline of 50%.

The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s just drinks industry IT hiring activity with a 77.97% share in March 2022, a 28.13% decline over February 2022. Spain featured next with an 11.86% share, up 75% over the previous month. India featured next with an 3.39% share, flat rise over the previous month

Mid Level jobs lead PepsiCo IT hiring activity in March 2022

Mid Level jobs held a share of 52.54%, down by 8.82% from February 2022. Junior Level positions with a 30.51% share, a decline of 50% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 16.95% share, up 11.11% over February 2022.
