The industry’s overall hiring increased by 132.12% in September 2022 when compared with August 2022.
Out of the healthcare industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 0.67% share in September 2022, recording a decrease of 0.5% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in the UK’s healthcare industry’s IT recruitment activity in September 2022
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 100% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of the UK’s healthcare industry in September 2022.
1) Database and Network Administrators and Architects recorded a share of 61.04% in September 2022, registering a 683.33% growth over the previous month.
2) Computer and Information Analysts claimed a 16.88% share, an increase of 62.5% over the previous month.
3) Computer Support Specialists held a share of 11.69%, registering a flat growth from August 2022.
4) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations captured a share of 5.19%, flat growth over the previous month.
Top five healthcare companies in the UK’s IT recruitment activity in September 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 380% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of the UK’s healthcare industry during September 2022 over August 2022.
Your World Healthcare posted 52 IT jobs in September 2022 and registered a flat growth over the previous month, followed by Spire Healthcare Group with 7 jobs and a 133.33% growth. West Hertfordshire Hospitals NHS Trust with 7 IT jobs and Pharmacy2U with 3 jobs, recorded a flat growth and a flat growth, respectively, while Independence Homes recorded an increase of 50% with 3 job postings during September 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in September 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 80.52%, up by 244.44% from August 2022. Entry Level positions with a 15.58% share, registered a flat growth compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 3.9% share, down 50% over August 2022.
