The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 6.75% in June 2022 when compared with May 2022.

Out of the healthcare industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 1.17% share in June 2022, recording an increase of 0.11% over the last three-month average share.

Top five job classifications in the UK’s healthcare industry’s IT recruitment activity in June 2022

Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 100% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of the UK’s healthcare industry in June 2022.

1) Database and Network Administrators and Architects recorded a share of 40% in June 2022, registering a 33.33% decline over the previous month.

2) Computer and Information Analysts claimed a 33.33% share, an increase of 150% over the previous month.

3) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers held a share of 20%, registering a flat growth from May 2022.

4) Computer Support Specialists captured a share of 6.67%, flat growth over the previous month.

Top five healthcare companies in the UK’s IT recruitment activity in June 2022

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 50% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of the UK’s healthcare industry during June 2022 over May 2022.

Spire Healthcare Group posted 3 IT jobs in June 2022 and registered a drop of 50% over the previous month, followed by Elanco Animal Health with 3 jobs and a 50% growth. Medical Research Council with 2 IT jobs and West Hertfordshire Hospitals NHS Trust with 2 jobs, recorded a flat growth and a flat growth, respectively, while University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust recorded a flat growth with 2 job postings during June 2022.

Junior Level job postings dominate in June 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 86.67%, up by 18.18% from May 2022. Mid Level positions with a 13.33% share, registered a decline of 50% compared with the previous month.
