The industry’s overall hiring increased by 59.62% in October 2022 when compared with September 2022.
Out of the healthcare industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 0.76% share in October 2022, recording a decrease of 0.25% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in the UK’s healthcare industry’s IT recruitment activity in October 2022
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 100% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of the UK’s healthcare industry in October 2022.
1) Database and Network Administrators and Architects recorded a share of 69.33% in October 2022, registering a 155.74% growth over the previous month.
2) Computer Support Specialists claimed a 13.33% share, an increase of 150% over the previous month.
3) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 7.56%, registering an 183.33% rise from September 2022.
4) Computer and Information Analysts captured a share of 7.11%, up 6.67% over the previous month.

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 158.54% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of the UK’s healthcare industry during October 2022 over September 2022.
Your World Healthcare posted 197 IT jobs in October 2022 and registered a rise of 173.61% over the previous month, followed by Yeovil District Hospital NHS Foundation Trust with 6 jobs and a 200% growth. Home Instead Senior Care (UK) with 3 IT jobs and West Hertfordshire Hospitals NHS Trust with 3 jobs, recorded a 200% growth and a 57.14% decrease, respectively, while Sea Mar Community Health Center recorded a flat growth with 3 job postings during October 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in October 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 90.67%, up by 161.54% from September 2022. Entry Level positions with an 8% share, registered an increase of 12.5% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 1.33% share, down 25% over September 2022.
