The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 4.03% in February 2022 when compared with January 2022.
Out of the just food industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 3.45% share in February 2022, recording an increase of 1.13% over the last three-month average share.

Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 100% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of the UK’s just food industry in February 2022.
1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 68.42% in February 2022, registering a 45.83% decline over the previous month.
2) Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a 15.79% share, a decrease of 70% over the previous month.
3) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 7.89%, registering a 50% decline from January 2022.
4) Computer Support Specialists captured a share of 7.89%, down 57.14% over the previous month.
Top five just food companies in the UK’s IT recruitment activity in February 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 49.3% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of the UK’s just food industry during February 2022 over January 2022.
Unternehmensgruppe Theo Muller S.e.c.s. posted 16 IT jobs in February 2022 and registered a drop of 30.43% over the previous month, followed by Roofoods with 11 jobs and a 75% drop. Nestle with 7 IT jobs and Barry Callebaut with 1 jobs, recorded a 250% growth and a flat growth, respectively, while Mars recorded a decline of 50% with 1 job postings during February 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in February 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 76.32%, down by 53.97% from January 2022. Mid Level positions with a 15.79% share, registered a decline of 62.5% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 7.89% share, down 25% over January 2022.
