The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 0.65% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of the US’s healthcare industry during October 2021 over September 2021.
HCA Healthcare posted 241 IT jobs in October 2021 and registered a drop of 3.6% over the previous month, followed by CVS Health with 188 jobs and a 3.09% drop. McKesson with 74 IT jobs and Mayo Clinic with 68 jobs, recorded a 25.42% flat growth and a 3.03% flat growth, respectively, while Sanford Health recorded an increase of 4.26% with 49 job postings during October 2021.
Junior Level job postings dominate in October 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 55.51%, down by 3.37% from September 2021. Mid Level positions with a 22.92% share, registered a decline of 2.74% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 20.98% share, down 3.24% over September 2021, while Senior postings accounted for 0.59%, recording a month-on-month increase of 66.67%.
