The US’s just drinks industry registered a 0.2% drop in IT hiring activity in March 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 2.32% in March 2022 when compared with February 2022.
Out of the just drinks industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 2.54% share in March 2022, recording an increase of 0.31% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in the US’s just drinks industry’s IT recruitment activity in March 2022
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 98.56% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of the US’s just drinks industry in March 2022.
1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 61.15% in March 2022, registering a 5.56% decline over the previous month.
2) Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a 19.42% share, a decrease of 12.9% over the previous month.
3) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 7.19%, registering a 41.18% decline from February 2022.
4) Computer Support Specialists captured a share of 5.76%, down 42.86% over the previous month.
Top five just drinks companies in the US’s IT recruitment activity in March 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 18.31% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of the US’s just drinks industry during March 2022 over February 2022.
PepsiCo posted 46 IT jobs in March 2022 and registered a drop of 28.13% over the previous month, followed by Carlsberg with 39 jobs and a 2.5% drop. Coca-Cola Consolidated with 14 IT jobs and The Coca-Cola with 9 jobs, recorded a 48.15% decline and a 12.5% growth, respectively, while Keurig Dr Pepper recorded an increase of 166.67% with 8 job postings during March 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in March 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 59.71%, down by 22.43% from February 2022. Mid Level positions with a 30.22% share, registered an increase of 7.69% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 10.07% share, down 30% over February 2022.
