India-based revenue cycle management (RCM) services provider Access Healthcare has acquired Envera Health, a patient engagement services provider in Virginia, US.

Envera Health integrates human and technology-driven engagement services to support health systems and physician practices.

According to various news outlets, Access Healthcare paid Rs2.63bn for the purchase.

The company used internal accruals and reserves to fund this amount, reported the Times of India.

It looks to improve the delivery of RCM services through the integration of its technology-enabled revenue cycle services with Envera Health’s patient engagement services.

This unification is said to optimise operational processes, reduce claim denials, increase collections, and improve the patient experience.
