Advantage Therapy & Sleep Centers (Advantage) has signed an agreement to manage the sleep laboratory at Shore Medical Center, a US acute care community hospital.
This partnership is set to begin in early March 2025.
Advantage’s management of the sleep laboratory will foster an environment conducive to positive patient outcomes and long-term treatment assistance.
Advantage CEO Dinak ‘Dino’ Nair said: “The partnership between two mission-driven organisations dedicated to high-quality and high-value patient care ensures members of the community are made aware of sleep disorders and receive the treatment they need.
“This partnership highlights Advantage’s ability to help health systems expand access to care for the communities they serve.”
Under the management agreement, Advantage will collaborate with Shore and its affiliated providers, ensuring they are well-informed to make optimal decisions for improving patient outcomes.
Shore Medical Center ambulatory and surgical services vice-president Matthew Piskun said: “At Shore, we pride ourselves on providing our patients individualised attention to detail and creating exceptional patient and family experiences.
“We have worked with the Advantage team for some time and know their dedication to providing personalised care to every patient is exactly what we are looking for in a partner to help serve our community.”
Advantage’s service offerings are comprehensive, spanning in-lab and home sleep testing, various therapies, pulmonary rehabilitation, and remote patient monitoring. Additionally, it operates an Accredited Sleep Technologist Education Program (A-STEP).
