American HealthTech (AHT), a member of the CPSI family of companies, has been selected by Barnes-Kasson County Hospital to provide extensive electronic health records (EHR) software solutions in a cloud-hosted environment for the hospital’s nursing facility.
Located around 120 miles northwest of New York City, the Barnes-Kasson County Hospital, has already been using Evident’s EHR solution known as Thrive in the hospital and clinic setting.
Evident operates as a wholly owned subsidiary of CPSI.
Now, CPSI’s AHT is offering the clinical management solutions in a hosted environment for the Barnes-Kasson skilled nursing facility. The collaboration will enable the hospital to provide integrated EHR solutions and services across the acute, ambulatory and post-acute care settings.
Barnes-Kassonadministrator for the skilled nursing facility Michelle Taylor said that the capabilities of the AHT solution help them meet the ever-increasing government regulations, an important factor in the decision-making process.
She further said their providers also played an important role in this decision. When they were brought into the product demonstration process, their providers were able to get a good sense of the work flow and the ease of use within the AHT product.
