AngelEye Health has acquired NICU2Home, a company which leverages technology to optimise care coordination in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), for an undisclosed amount.
NICU2Home’s mobile application is designed to meet the specific information and communication demands of parents with premature infants, delivers personalised content and education to assist them from the NICU to home.
The app’s “user-friendly” interface, backed by peer-reviewed research from four NICUs in the Chicago area, one of which is Northwestern Medicine, offers families essential tools to stay informed and engaged during their stay in the NICU.
With the acquisition of NICU2Home, AngelEye is set to bolster its existing commitment to deliver comprehensive NICU care and expand its solutions for connecting families with their infants.
Additionally, this acquisition enables AngelEye Health to address a significant gap in neonatal care coordination, while promising numerous benefits such as optimised discharge coordination and enhanced communication between care teams and families.
Some additional benefits include increased financial efficiency for hospitals as well as reduced unnecessary NICU days for customers.
