US-based healthcare technology company Applied Health Analytics has partnered with Reperio Health, a supplier of at-home and onsite biometric health screening services, to enhance the capabilities of health systems to manage population health.

Applied Health Analytics’ clients, which include more than 30 major hospitals and health systems across the US, will gain immediate access to at-home biometric screenings, conducted via Reperio Health’s technology.

Founded in 2009, Applied Health Analytics specialises in analytics, technology and services that support hospitals and health systems in value-based care arrangements, population health and risk-based contracting.

The company is a joint-venture partner with Vanderbilt University Medical Center and Atrium Health.

Applied Health Analytics uses claims and biometric screening data to identify high-risk individuals, segment employee populations and close gaps in care.

Applied Health Analytics CEO Robert Chamberlain said: “For many, the biometric screening event is as close to an annual physical exam as they will get.

Although biometric health screenings are crucial for the early identification of health risks, traditional screening processes can be expensive and difficult to access.

Reperio Health aims to address these challenges with its patented technology, which combines a mobile app with US FDA-cleared devices.
