Healthcare company Ascension St. John and Encompass Health have opened the Ascension St. John Rehabilitation Hospital in Owasso, Oklahoma, US.

This new hospital is a joint venture (JV) between Ascension St. John and Encompass Health.

Ascension St. John Rehabilitation Hospital, a 40-bed inpatient rehabilitation facility, will serve patients recovering from illnesses and injuries, such as strokes and other neurological disorders, spinal cord injuries, brain injuries, amputations, and complex orthopaedic issues.

Besides the 24-hour nursing care, the new facility provides physical, occupational and speech therapies to restore functional ability and patients’ quality of life.

Specialised nurses, therapists, and physicians offer care for the patients in the hospital. The hospital includes private patient rooms, a therapy gym featuring advanced rehabilitation technologies, a daily living suite, and an on-site dialysis suite.
