BayCare Health System, a not-for-profit health care system, has announced the opening of its HealthHub facility in Land O’Lakes in Florida, US.
HealthHub is a new concept that has been created to offer various health care services at one location for patients and their families.
BayCare Ambulatory Services senior vice-president Jim Cote said: “As a leading health care system in the region, we’re thrilled to bring the HealthHub concept to Land O’ Lakes.
“Through this new model, our goal is to provide access to multiple services under one roof. We know people are busy and we want to make health care convenient for them and their families.”
Covering 24,648ft2 of area, the new facility is said to offer an integrated healthcare service for residents located in the Pasco County.
BayCare Health System noted that its HealthHub facility in Land O’Lakes provides services such as adult and paediatric primary care, urgent care and imaging with an enhanced patient experience.

By GlobalDataLocated at 18600 Fernview Street, Land O’ Lakes, HealthHub is the fourth facility opened by BayCare Health in the Tampa Bay area and will join three other facilities located in Largo, Valrico and South Tampa.
BayCare Urgent Care chief medical officer and BayCare Ambulatory Services assistant chief medical officer Dr Nathan Keith Waldrep said: “We’re proud to provide seamless, top-quality care to patients in the Land O’Lakes community alongside an experienced team of physicians, clinicians and staff.”
Additionally, the company plans to open the new BayCare Hospital Wesley Chapel, which will be inaugurated in 2023.
BayCare Health System said that these new facilities will give patients better access to convenient and quality care and meet their health requirements.
