Bon Secours Health System has selected Hyland Healthcare’s OnBase enterprise information platform to manage content and meet clinical, financial and operational requirements.

Claimed to be Ireland’s largest independent hospital group, Bon Secours treats over 280,000 patients per year in its five acute hospitals situated in Cork, Galway, Limerick, Tralee and Dublin.

Bon Secours will implement OnBase platform across the organization as part of its enterprise-wide strategy to better connect all departments and specialties.

The platform will allow Irish hospital to consolidate unstructured content to simplify information access and streamline clinical workflows for its doctors.

OnBase centralises key business content in one secure location, and delivers relevant data whenever required. It provides employees with a complete view of the information they require.

Hyland said the platform will optimise workflows and performance across the enterprise. It will integrate with its existing patient administration system, and other core clinical software applications, to enhance medical data management and decrease operational costs.
