Carrum Health and Texas Oncology have partnered to introduce a value-based care programme for breast cancer care in Texas, US.

The programme will offer a new bundled payment model for breast cancer treatment, with the aim of simplifying access to care and reducing costs for both patients and employers.

The package includes two years of coverage for chemotherapy, radiation and symptom management from Texas Oncology.

Through Carrum Health’s Centers of Excellence (COE) network, employer clients can access these services at pre-negotiated bundled prices to ensure members receive quality care without financial and administrative concerns.

Carrum Health founder and CEO Sach Jain said: “About half of cancer care is delivered in community oncology settings, which makes these providers a critical component in expanding access to high-value cancer care to our members.

“As pioneers in value-based payment models and experts in cancer care, Texas Oncology is an ideal collaborator.
