UK-based ophthalmology clinic Community Health and Eyecare (CHEC) is constructing a new hospital near Warrington’s town centre, reported Warrington Guardian.
Set to open in early 2024, this new eyecare facility aims to reduce NHS waiting times.
Patients will be treated within four weeks of referral.
Located at Centre Park in Phoenix House, the hospital will have free parking and will be near to the town centre, with transport links.
CHEC is transforming the 7,730ft² building into an advanced clinical facility, featuring an ophthalmology theatre.
CHEC commercial director Jose Bailey was quoted as saying by the publication: “Patient choice, exceptional care, and equity of access are central to CHEC’s operations and ethos, which is why we’re proud to collaborate with NHS partners nationwide, helping to keep waiting times to a minimum while delivering the very best quality of care.
