Private clinical research centre City of Hope has opened Hope Plaza, an outpatient facility, among its network of 38 locations in the US.
Hope Plaza is a key component of City of Hope’s seven-year, $1bn campus transformation project.
The facility has 84 exam rooms, which are expected to increase outpatient visit capacity by 69%, or an additional 168,000 patient visits a year.
City of Hope offers a range of cancer treatments, including immunotherapies, targeted therapies, and cell and gene engineering.
City of Hope Los Angeles and City of Hope National Medical Center president Marcel van den Brink said: “City of Hope experts are on the forefront of personalised medicine based on an individual’s genes, robotic and minimally invasive surgery, state-of-the-art interventional radiology that concentrates on disease and leaves healthy cells untouched, and supportive care that improves quality of life for our cancer survivors and their family members.”
Personalised care is a priority, with programmes spanning from prevention to survivorship accessible in a single location.
