Cleveland Clinic, a non-profit multispecialty academic medical centre in the US, has appointed Tommaso Falcone as its first executive vice president and president of International and Emerging Markets.
With effect from 1 April, Falcone will lead the strategic initiatives in global markets, while targeting both established as well as the emerging markets.
His responsibilities will further encompass handling Global Patient Services across the enterprise, International Operations, and the management of Cleveland Clinic Nevada and Cleveland Clinic Canada.
In his new role, Falcone will also work in close coordination with both Cleveland Clinic London and Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi.
Prior to this, Falcone served various clinical and leadership positions at Cleveland Clinic. Until June 2023, he was the interim president of Cleveland Clinic London.
Falcone also worked as first chief of staff for Cleveland Clinic London, overseeing the hospital’s development and successful opening.
