Community Health Network has unveiled plans for a substantial expansion with the establishment of a new healthcare campus in Westfield, Indiana, US, for an estimated value of $335m.
To be located near 196th Street and US 31, the 425,000ft² facility is poised to enhance the network’s service offerings in central Indiana.
This new campus, which is designed by Guidon, will improve access to healthcare services in the region.
The facility will encompass an array of healthcare services, including an ambulatory surgery centre, a medical office building, an emergency department, and a six-storey patient tower.
It will focus on delivering comprehensive care in areas such as women’s health, integrative medicine, orthopaedics, primary care, behavioural health, and various speciality services.
The expansion includes the redevelopment of two existing structures at 19800 N. East Street and 19900 N. East Street.

In addition to refurbishing current buildings, the project will see the development of a 100-bed inpatient tower.
The Westfield campus will also feature labour and delivery services, including Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) rooms designed to support family-centred care.
The medical office facility’s construction is anticipated to conclude in the first quarter of next year, while the surgery centre, hospital service building, and hospital tower are slated for completion by mid-2026.
The renovation works of the existing buildings are expected to result in cost savings of over $50m compared to building new structures.
The project plans are currently being reviewed by Westfield city authorities.
Community Health Network chief operating officer Jason Fahrlander said: “This expansion reflects our responsiveness to Westfield’s growth and needs.
“This new state-of-the-art healthcare campus aligns with our mission to enhance health and well-being in the communities we serve.”
