Business solutions provider Conduent has formed an alliance with tech giant Microsoft to explore the use of generative artificial intelligence (AI) for the healthcare sector.
Through this collaboration, Conduent aims to enhance quality, productivity, and cycle times for its global clients.
Leveraging Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service, the initiative focuses on healthcare claims management, customer service platforms, and fraud detection, with three pilots currently in progress.
This partnership will explore multiple use cases across various business processes, ensuring data protection through dedicated AI instances.
The generative AI pilots include the implementation of Azure AI Document Intelligence and Azure OpenAI Service for intelligent data harvesting from healthcare claims documents, which is expected to expedite adjudication processes.
Additionally, the initiative aims to enhance customer service agent responsiveness by incorporating Azure AI Language Service, Azure AI Speech Service, and Azure OpenAI Service.
