Cardiovascular Logistics (CVL) has announced a partnership with Cardiology Consultants of Philadelphia (CCP), marking growth in its provider network and team size.
This collaboration signals a strategic move to enhance the delivery of cardiovascular care across the US.
CVL CEO David Konur said: “This is a pivotal moment not just for our organisation, but for cardiovascular care nationwide.
“CCP is a clinical and operational leader in its region, and our partnership reflects a shared commitment to fundamentally changing how cardiovascular care is delivered in the US.”
CVL’s network will now include approximately 440 providers, up from 300, and its team will grow from 2,100 to 2,800 members.
Based in Southeastern Pennsylvania, CCP brings more than 90 cardiologists and over 50 practitioners across 30 locations to the partnership.
The practice is known for its cardiac imaging capabilities and timely patient access, with a history of over three decades.
CCP is experienced in interventional cardiology and electrophysiology, with more than 20 physicians skilled in advanced procedures like catheter-based interventions and cardiac ablations.
CVL chief medical officer Craig Walker said: “An ageing population and the increasing prevalence of conditions such as heart failure, atrial fibrillation, and peripheral vascular disease are placing additional strain on providers while shifting care models and emerging technologies are creating new challenges—and opportunities—for independent cardiology practices.
“By combining CCP’s regional depth with CVL’s national scale and infrastructure, the partnership is positioned to meet this rising demand with expanded access, enhanced care delivery, and a sustainable model for cardiovascular excellence.”
The collaboration allows CCP to maintain its independence while leveraging CVL’s resources and infrastructure for growth.
